Core Platform
Alert Tag Support for Custom Attributes Enhancement
A new field called Alert Tag is now available in the Custom Attribute UI. This allows you to designate specific custom attributes as alert tags to your alerts, enabling better enrichment of alert metadata, filtering, and correlation during incident analysis.
Note
To ensure optimal performance, a maximum of 5 alert tags can be assigned per resource. There are no limits on the number of disabled alert tag attributes.
Authz Tag Support for Custom Attributes
The Custom Attribute UI now includes a new field named AuthZ Tag. You can leverage this field to mark specific custom attributes as AuthZ Tags, which can then be used to control access to log data based on role permissions.
Note
To ensure optimal performance, a maximum of 5 AuthZ Tags can be assigned per resource. There are no limits on the number of disabled AuthZ tag attributes.Currently, the Authz tag functionality is limited to Log Management.
Authz Tag Support in Role Management Enhancement
Introduced the ability to assign Authorization Tags (AuthZ Tags) during Role Creation, enabling more precise control over user access to log data. These tags determine which categories of logs are visible to users based on the roles assigned to them, ensuring access is aligned with specific permissions.
Key Benefits:
- This minimizes the risk of overexposure to sensitive or irrelevant data.
- Centralized tag management makes it easier to update or revoke access by adjusting role tags rather than changing each user’s settings.
- Different teams (e.g., security, operations, billing) can be limited to the logs they need.
- Promotes data separation and operational efficiency.
Resource Management
Dynamic Resource Assignment in Custom Attributes Enhancement
A new capability in the Custom Attributes UI allows you to assign resources using filter-based search queries.
With the new Resource Filter Criteria field, you can define rules by specifying queries — enabling dynamic, rule-driven resource allocation with minimal manual effort.
Event Management
External Ticket ID Search Now Available in Alert Browser Enhancement
You can now view and manage External Ticket IDs more efficiently in the Alert browser:
OPSQL Query Support: You can use the extTicketId attribute in OPSQL queries to filter alerts based on associated external ticket IDs.
Customizable Columns: The External Ticket ID field can be added from the Alert Browser’s column settings for quick access and visibility.
Multi-ID Display: When multiple external tickets are linked to an alert, they are shown as comma-separated values in the column allowing easy mapping to corresponding incident IDs.
View Historical and Current Alert Comments Together Enhancement
You can now see older comments from previous alerts alongside the latest comments on the current, similar alert enabling better context and faster issue resolution.
See View Historical Alert Comments for more details.
Log Management

Stream Export Integration Enhancement
The Stream Export Integration now supports multiple installations per client, with a limit of up to 5 installations. This allows the same log data to be delivered to multiple endpoints simultaneously.
See Install Streaming Export integration for more details.
Logs-Normalizer Enhancement: Transform & Lookup Support for Log Enrichment Enhancement
Log Enrichment now supports Transform & Lookup functionality, enabling splitString, splitRegex, parseJson, and regexExtract functions. These functions extract values from existing fields and create new fields in source logs. A lookup table can be applied to enrich source logs with additional fields.
See Transform & Lookup for more details.
RBAC for Log Management and modules Enhancement
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) now enforces fine-grained log access using AuthZTags (key-value pairs). Logs are saved, retrieved, and deleted based on their assigned AuthZTags, ensuring users can only access logs matching their roles. AuthZTags must be configured during role creation to define log visibility.
- All AuthZ Tags users have access to all logs.
- No AuthZ Tags users can only view default logs (logs without tags).
- Users assigned specific AuthZTags can access only logs associated with those tags.
See RBAC support for Logs and Management for more details.
Tracing
Enhanced Trace explorer Enhancement
Trace explorer now has a faster way to fetch traces in chunks for the filter queries applied by the user. We load up to 1000 Spans (Root Spans / All Spans Tabs) and have the sorting capability for the fetched rows.
Reporting Apps
Notifications for Reporting Apps Enhancement
Users can set notifications for each Reporting App to receive notice of report failures, successful completions, and self-notifications.
All reporting app notifications should be managed based on the user’s report-level notification settings, including failures, successful and self-notifications.
To enable this, Go to Setup → Account → Users and Permissions → Users and enable the report notification configuration in user details page.
New Column Resource Tier in Asset Inventory Enhancement
The Asset Inventory Report has been enhanced with the addition of a new column called ‘resource tier.’ This column includes the following values.
1.Inventory Only
2.Event Only
3.UpDown Only
4.Fully Managed
By providing this information, customers can easily cross-reference the details in the Asset Inventory Report with their billing usage report, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their resource allocations and associated costs. This added feature facilitates better tracking and management of resources, ultimately improving the accuracy of billing and usage assessments.
